How do you install a login theme or select from ones installed in Linux Mint 8? I knew how in 7, but 8 doesn't seem to be the same.

In all karmic-based things the new GDM doesn't have that ability anymore. some fing downloading the legacy version from the synaptic helps, but that just made gnome crash for me.

There is a utility in the works for changing the GDM 2 login wallpaper and setting the GTK theme. I have tried it on LM8, and it works well.

Unfortunately, theres still no way to get the really awesome themes we had in GDM1.

Hi i am pretty new to mint, but i have been on this site a couple of times, and i think that it is pretty silent, why?
it does not take like 15 min. to make something for the artwork..

but another thing
this "forum" is pretty confusing, no categories or anything? why is that?

I was here too, and i was a novice..

I messed up uploading a couple of background photos. I would like to remove them. Can it be done ? and if "yes" how?
