Canonical dont want users to eduacate themselves

On every Ooboonto distro i have seen so far they missing an IMPORTANT component as default and that is Midnight Commander - http://www.midnight-commander.org/ Of course it can be found in the repo's but not in the default setup/install and that is a shame !

Midnight Commander has been the ultimate tool for both newbies and experienced sysadmins for many years, helping ppl to navigate around in and explore and understand a Linux system, personally i cant think a Linux system is complete whitout Midnight Commander.

Canonical seems to put all effort in the "bling bling" startup process with that crappy "Plymouth" and Nazi style GRUB2 and GDM2 ... whats next ... cryptic error messages scripted in Python?

I am Vaxxipooh and I am totally committed to the festive mode.
